These funds are used to enforce Alabama's underage drinking laws through additional overtime manpower, and to educate teens, adults, providers and servers on the laws and penalties regarding underage drinking.
Objective:
To reduce underage drinking and the subsequent results as related to DUI crashes, injuries and fatalities by providing overtime law enforcement, education to servers and providers, and other youth alcohol initiatives (sting operations, etc.).
Eligible Applicants: County, municipal and state government.
Eligible Activities: Overtime enforcement, provider and server training, public information and education.
