Recycling Program

Conserving energy resources, preserving our environment and creating new jobs are the objectives of the Recycling Program. The program provides technical assistance to local governments wanting to start or expand their local recycling programs and general information on recycling. These local recycling programs are providing raw materials to Alabama 's recycling industry, which employs more than 2,200 workers.
